How To Install python-pyxid on Ubuntu 18.04

python-pyxid is:
pyxid is a Python library for interfacing with Cedrus XID (eXperiment Interface Device) and StimTracker devices. XID devices are used in software such as SuperLab, Presentation, and ePrime for receiving input as part of stimulus/response testing experiments.
pyxid handles all of the low level device handling for XID devices in Python projects.
There are three methods to install python-pyxid
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install python-pyxid

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install python-pyxid

How To Uninstall python-pyxid on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python-pyxid
package we can use the following command:

Uninstall python-pyxid And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-pyxid
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-pyxid
Remove python-pyxid Configurations and Data
To remove python-pyxid
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-pyxid
