How To Install python-pydicom on Debian 10

What is python-pydicom
python-pydicom is:
pydicom is a pure Python module for parsing DICOM files. DICOM is a standard (http://medical.nema.org) for communicating medical images and related information such as reports and radiotherapy objects.
pydicom makes it easy to read DICOM files into natural pythonic structures for easy manipulation. Modified datasets can be written again to DICOM format files.
This package installs the module for Python 2.
There are three methods to install python-pydicom on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-pydicom Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-pydicom using apt-get by running the following command:

To uninstall only the python-pydicom package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-pydicom
Uninstall python-pydicom And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-pydicom and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-pydicom
Remove python-pydicom Configurations and Data
To remove python-pydicom configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-pydicom
