How To Install python-pjproject on Ubuntu 18.04

What is python-pjproject
python-pjproject is:
PJSIP (a.k.a PJProject) is a multimedia communication library written in C language implementing standard based protocols such as SIP, SDP, RTP, STUN, TURN, and ICE. It combines signaling protocol (SIP) with rich multimedia framework and NAT traversal functionality into high level API that is portable and suitable for almost any type of systems ranging from desktops, embedded systems, to mobile handsets.
This package includes the Python bindings.
There are three methods to install python-pjproject
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

Install python-pjproject Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-pjproject

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-pjproject
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-pjproject
How To Uninstall python-pjproject on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python-pjproject
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-pjproject
Uninstall python-pjproject And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-pjproject
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-pjproject
Remove python-pjproject Configurations and Data
To remove python-pjproject
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-pjproject
Remove python-pjproject configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python-pjproject
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge python-pjproject
