What is python-paramiko
python-paramiko is:
This is a library for making SSH2 connections (client or server). Emphasis is on using SSH2 as an alternative to SSL for making secure connections between Python scripts. All major ciphers and hash methods are supported. SFTP client and server mode are both supported too.
This is the Python 2 version of the package.
There are three methods to install python-paramiko
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install python-paramiko Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-paramiko
using apt-get

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
