What is python-oslo-rootwrap

The Oslo Rootwrap allows fine filtering of shell commands to run as root from OpenStack services. Unlike other Oslo deliverables, it should not be used as a Python library, but called as a separate process through the oslo-rootwrap command sudo oslo-rootwrap ROOTWRAP_CONFIG COMMAND_LINE

Install python-oslo-rootwrap on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python-oslo-rootwrap using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install python-oslo-rootwrap

Install python-oslo-rootwrap on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

How To Uninstall python-oslo-rootwrap on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the python-oslo-rootwrap package we can use the following command:
