What is python-libdiscid

python-libdiscid is:

libdiscid allows one to create MusicBrainz DiscIDs from audio CDs. It reads a CD’s table of contents and generates and identifier which can be used to lookup the CD at MusicBrainz. python-libdiscid provides a binding to work with libdiscid from Python.

This package provides the binding for Python 2.

There are three methods to install python-libdiscid on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python-libdiscid Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
