The guiqwt Python library provides efficient 2D data-plotting features (curve/image visualization and related tools) for signal/image processing application development and interactive computing. It’s based on the scientific modules NumPy and SciPy, and the PyQwt plotting widgets for PyQt4 graphical user interfaces.

This is the Python 2 version of the package.

There are three methods to install python-guiqwt on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python-guiqwt Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

To uninstall only the python-guiqwt package we can use the following command:
