How To Install python-gflags on Ubuntu 18.04

What is python-gflags
python-gflags is:
GFlags defines a distributed command line system, replacing systems like getopt(), optparse and manual argument processing. Rather than an application having to define all flags in or near main(), each Python module defines flags that are useful to it. When one Python module imports another, it gains access to the other’s flags.
It includes the ability to define flag types (boolean, float, integer, list), autogeneration of help (in both human and machine readable format) and reading arguments from a file. It also includes the ability to automatically generate man pages from the help flags.
This package provides the Python 2.x module.
There are three methods to install python-gflags on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-gflags Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-gflags using apt-get by running the following command:

Install python-gflags Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-gflags using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-gflags
How To Uninstall python-gflags on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python-gflags package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-gflags
Uninstall python-gflags And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-gflags and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-gflags
Remove python-gflags Configurations and Data
To remove python-gflags configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-gflags
Remove python-gflags configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python-gflags configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
