What is python-flake8

python-flake8 is:

Flake8 is a wrapper around PyFlakes, pycodestyle, and Ned’s McCabe script. Flake8 runs all tools by launching the single ‘flake8’ script, but ignores pycodestyle and PyFlakes extended options and just uses defaults. It displays the warnings in a per-file, merged output.

This package provides Python 2 module bindings only.

There are three methods to install python-flake8 on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python-flake8 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install python-flake8 using apt-get by running the following command:
