The FInite element Automatic Tabulator FIAT supports generation of arbitrary order instances of the Lagrange elements on lines, triangles, and tetrahedra. Other supported elements include arbitrary order Raviart-Thomas elements, Brezzi-Douglas-Marini elements and a few others.

This is a dummy package which depends on python3-fiat. (FIAT is available for Python 3 only).

There are three methods to install python-fiat on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python-fiat Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
