This package provides low level interfaces for making science experiments with an ExpEYES box. The library allows one to develop new programs easily
ExpEYES is from the PHOENIX project of Inter-University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi. It is a hardware & software framework for developing science experiments, demonstrations and projects and learn science and engineering by exploration. Capable of doing real time measurements and analysing the data in different ways. Analog voltages are measured with 0.025% resolution and time intervals with one microsecond. This project is based on Free and Open Source software, mostly written in Python programming language. The hardware design is also open.
There are three methods to install python-expeyes
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-expeyes Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-expeyes
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python-expeyes
Install python-expeyes Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python-expeyes
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install python-expeyes
Install python-expeyes Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-expeyes
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-expeyes
How To Uninstall python-expeyes on Debian 9
To uninstall only the python-expeyes
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-expeyes
Uninstall python-expeyes And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-expeyes
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
