How To Install python-envisage on Ubuntu 18.04

What is python-envisage
python-envisage is:
Envisage is a Python-based framework for building extensible applications, that is, applications whose functionality can be extended by adding “plug-ins”. Envisage provides a standard mechanism for features to be added to an application, whether by the original developer or by someone else. In fact, when you build an application using Envisage, the entire application consists primarily of plug-ins. In this respect, it is similar to the Eclipse and Netbeans frameworks for Java applications.
There are three methods to install python-envisage
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install python-envisage Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-envisage
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python-envisage
Install python-envisage Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python-envisage
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install python-envisage
Install python-envisage Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-envisage
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-envisage
How To Uninstall python-envisage on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python-envisage
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-envisage
Uninstall python-envisage And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-envisage
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-envisage
Remove python-envisage Configurations and Data
To remove python-envisage
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-envisage
Remove python-envisage configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python-envisage
