How To Install python-drizzle on Ubuntu 18.04

What is python-drizzle
python-drizzle is:
The drizzle library is a Python package for combining dithered images into a single image. This library is derived from code used in drizzlepac. Like drizzlepac, most of the code is implemented in the C language. The biggest change from drizzlepac is that this code passes an array that maps the input to output image into the C code, while the drizzlepac code computes the mapping by using a Python callback. Switching to using an array allowed the code to be greatly simplified.
This is the Python 2 package.
There are three methods to install python-drizzle on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-drizzle Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-drizzle using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

Install python-drizzle Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-drizzle using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-drizzle
How To Uninstall python-drizzle on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python-drizzle package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-drizzle
Uninstall python-drizzle And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-drizzle and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-drizzle
Remove python-drizzle Configurations and Data
To remove python-drizzle configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-drizzle
Remove python-drizzle configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python-drizzle configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge python-drizzle
