python-dlt is:
Diagnostic Log and Trace (DLT) library wrapper for Python 2 using ctypes
This component provides a log and trace interface, based on the standardised protocol specified in the AUTOSAR standard 4.0 DLT. This library can be used to connect to a DLT logging facility and process saved DLT log files.
This package installs the library for Python 2.
There are three methods to install python-dlt on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-dlt Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-dlt using apt-get by running the following command:
