How To Install python-biopython on Debian 9

What is python-biopython
python-biopython is:
The Biopython Project is an international association of developers of freely available Python tools for computational molecular biology.
It is a distributed collaborative effort to develop Python libraries and applications which address the needs of current and future work in bioinformatics. The source code is made available under the Biopython License, which is extremely liberal and compatible with almost every license in the world. The project works along with the Open Bioinformatics Foundation, who generously provide web and CVS space for the project.
This package is targeting Python version 2.
There are three methods to install python-biopython on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-biopython Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-biopython using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python-biopython

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python-biopython using apt by running the following command:

Install python-biopython Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall python-biopython on Debian 9
To uninstall only the python-biopython package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-biopython

To uninstall python-biopython and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-biopython
Remove python-biopython Configurations and Data
To remove python-biopython configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-biopython
