What is python-avahi
python-avahi is:
Avahi is a fully LGPL framework for Multicast DNS Service Discovery. It allows programs to publish and discover services and hosts running on a local network with no specific configuration. For example you can plug into a network and instantly find printers to print to, files to look at and people to talk to.
This package contains utility modules to talk to Avahi with Python easier.
There are three methods to install python-avahi on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-avahi Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-avahi using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python-avahi

After updating apt database, We can install python-avahi using apt by running the following command:

Install python-avahi Using aptitude
