What is python-ariapy

python-ariapy is:

ARIA is an object oriented toolkit for controlling MobileRobots/ActivMedia mobile robots and their accessories, and for creating robot control applications. It also provides many cross-platform and high-level tools for multimedia, networking, and other useful tasks.

This package contains SWIG generated Python bindings.

There are three methods to install python-ariapy on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python-ariapy Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install python-ariapy using apt-get by running the following command:
