How To Install pypy-lib on Ubuntu 20.04

What is pypy-lib

The PyPy standard library. This is a combination of modules, copied directly from cpython, modified cpython modules, and modules entirely re-implemented (usually in pure Python, where they are C extensions in cpython).
PyPy is a fast, compliant alternative implementation of the Python language (2.7).
There are three methods to install pypy-lib
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install pypy-lib Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pypy-lib
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install pypy-lib

After updating apt database, We can install pypy-lib

Install pypy-lib Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install pypy-lib
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install pypy-lib
How To Uninstall pypy-lib on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the pypy-lib
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove pypy-lib
Uninstall pypy-lib And Its Dependencies
To uninstall pypy-lib
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove pypy-lib
Remove pypy-lib Configurations and Data
To remove pypy-lib
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge pypy-lib
