How To Install pylint-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is pylint-doc
pylint-doc is:
Pylint is a Python source code analyzer which looks for programming errors, helps enforcing a coding standard and sniffs for some code smells (as defined in Martin Fowler’s Refactoring book)
Pylint can be seen as another PyChecker since nearly all tests you can do with PyChecker can also be done with Pylint. However, Pylint offers some more features, like checking length of lines of code, checking if variable names are well-formed according to your coding standard, or checking if declared interfaces are truly implemented, and much more.
Additionally, it is possible to write plugins to add your own checks.

There are three methods to install pylint-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pylint-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pylint-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pylint-doc
Install pylint-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install pylint-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install pylint-doc
Install pylint-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install pylint-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install pylint-doc
How To Uninstall pylint-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the pylint-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove pylint-doc
Uninstall pylint-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall pylint-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove pylint-doc
Remove pylint-doc Configurations and Data
To remove pylint-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge pylint-doc
Remove pylint-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove pylint-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge pylint-doc
