What is pylint-doc
pylint-doc is:
Pylint is a Python source code analyzer which looks for programming errors, helps enforcing a coding standard and sniffs for some code smells (as defined in Martin Fowler’s Refactoring book)
Pylint can be seen as another PyChecker since nearly all tests you can do with PyChecker can also be done with Pylint. There are three methods to install pylint-doc
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pylint-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pylint-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pylint-doc
