How To Install pyhoca-gui on CentOS 7

In this tutorial we learn how to install pyhoca-gui
on CentOS 7.
What is pyhoca-gui
X2Go is a server based computing environment with - session resuming - low bandwidth support - LDAP support - client side mass storage mounting support - client side printing support - audio support - authentication by smartcard and USB stick PyHoca-GUI is a slim X2Go client that docks to the desktop’s notification area and allows multiple X2Go session handling.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install pyhoca-gui
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install pyhoca-gui.
Install pyhoca-gui on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install pyhoca-gui
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install pyhoca-gui
Install pyhoca-gui on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install pyhoca-gui
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install pyhoca-gui
How To Uninstall pyhoca-gui on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the pyhoca-gui
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove pyhoca-gui
