X2Go is a server based computing environment with - session resuming - low bandwidth support - LDAP support - client side mass storage mounting support - client side printing support - audio support - authentication by smartcard and USB stick PyHoca-CLI provides a simple and flexible command line client written in Python that allows you to control X2Go client sessions on desktops and thin clients.
We can use yum or dnf to install pyhoca-cli on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install pyhoca-cli.
Install pyhoca-cli on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install pyhoca-cli using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install pyhoca-cli
Install pyhoca-cli on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install pyhoca-cli using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install pyhoca-cli
How To Uninstall pyhoca-cli on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the pyhoca-cli package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove pyhoca-cli
