In this tutorial we learn how to install pycadf-common on Ubuntu 18.04.

What is pycadf-common

pycadf-common is:

pyCADF is an implementation of DMTF Cloud Audit (CADF) data model. DMTF Cloud Management Initiative is promoting the work of the Cloud Management Work Group, the Cloud Auditing Data Federation Working Group, the System Virtualization, Partitioning, Clustering Working Group and the Software Entitlement Working Group. See http://dmtf.org for details.

This package contains the common files for both Python 2.7 and 3.x modules.

There are three methods to install pycadf-common on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
