How To Install pybit-common on Ubuntu 18.04

What is pybit-common
pybit-common is:
pyBit uses message queues to create a distributed, cross-platform buildd toolkit using a collection of buildds, using source from various VCS clients. pyBit is intended to support rapidly evolving software collections and can support multiple VCS frontends and multiple build backends.
This package contains the object definitions of Python objects common to pyBit components as well as the Postgres database schema for pyBit.
There are three methods to install pybit-common on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pybit-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pybit-common using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pybit-common
Install pybit-common Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install pybit-common using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install pybit-common
Install pybit-common Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install pybit-common using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install pybit-common

sudo apt-get -y purge pybit-common
