This package contains a post-exploitation framework that includes a pure-PowerShell2.0 Windows agent, and a pure Python Linux/OS X agent. It is the merge of the previous PowerShell Empire and Python EmPyre projects. The framework offers cryptologically-secure communications and a flexible architecture. On the PowerShell side, Empire implements the ability to run PowerShell agents without needing powershell.exe, rapidly deployable post-exploitation modules ranging from key loggers to Mimikatz, and adaptable communications to evade network detection, all wrapped up in a usability-focused framework.
There are three methods to install powershell-empire on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install powershell-empire Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install powershell-empire using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install powershell-empireInstall powershell-empire Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install powershell-empire using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install powershell-empireInstall powershell-empire Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install powershell-empire using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install powershell-empireHow To Uninstall powershell-empire on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the powershell-empire package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove powershell-empireUninstall powershell-empire And Its Dependencies
To uninstall powershell-empire and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove powershell-empireRemove powershell-empire Configurations and Data
To remove powershell-empire configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge powershell-empireRemove powershell-empire configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove powershell-empire configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
