How To Install postfix-cdb on Kali Linux

Postfix is Wietse Venema’s mail transport agent that started life as an alternative to the widely-used Sendmail program. Postfix attempts to be fast, easy to administer, and secure, while at the same time being sendmail compatible enough to not upset existing users. Thus, the outside has a sendmail-ish flavor, but the inside is completely different.
This provides support for CDB (constant database) maps in Postfix. If you plan to use CDB maps with Postfix, you need this.
There are three methods to install postfix-cdb on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install postfix-cdb Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install postfix-cdb using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install postfix-cdbInstall postfix-cdb Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install postfix-cdb using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install postfix-cdbInstall postfix-cdb Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install postfix-cdb using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the postfix-cdb package we can use the following command:

To uninstall postfix-cdb and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove postfix-cdbRemove postfix-cdb Configurations and Data
To remove postfix-cdb configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge postfix-cdbRemove postfix-cdb configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove postfix-cdb configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
