What is poezio-doc
A jabber (XMPP) console client that aims at being similar to popular IRC clients such as Irssi or Weechat. Its main goal is to let the user connect to the Jabber network and join chat rooms without requiring any registration. This package contains documentation in reST format.
We can use yum or dnf to install poezio-doc on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install poezio-doc.
Install poezio-doc on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install poezio-doc using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install poezio-doc
Install poezio-doc on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install poezio-doc using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install poezio-doc
How To Uninstall poezio-doc on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the poezio-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove poezio-doc
