How To Install plplot-tcl on Kali Linux

What is plplot-tcl
plplot-tcl is:
PLplot is relatively small, portable, freely distributable, and is rich enough to satisfy most users. It has a wide range of plot types including line (linear, log), contour, 3D, fill, and almost 1000 characters (including Greek and mathematical) in its extended font set. The package is designed to make it easy to quickly get graphical output; only a handful of function calls is typically required. For more advanced use, virtually all aspects of plotting are configurable.
This package contains the Tcl/Tk support for PLplot: shared libraries, Tcl modules and the Tk driver.
There are three methods to install plplot-tcl on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install plplot-tcl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install plplot-tcl using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install plplot-tclInstall plplot-tcl Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install plplot-tcl using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the plplot-tcl package we can use the following command:

To remove plplot-tcl configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
