What is plfit
plfit is:
The plfit software fits power-law distributions to empirical (discrete or continuous) data, according to the method of Clauset, Shalizi and Newman [SIAM Review 51, 661-703 (2009)].
This package provides two command line utilities, plfit and plgen.
There are three methods to install plfit on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install plfit Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install plfit using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install plfit

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install plfit using apt by running the following command:
