How To Install pinto on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install pinto on Kali Linux.
What is pinto
pinto is:
Pinto is an application for creating and managing a custom CPAN-like repository of Perl modules. The purpose of such a repository is to provide a stable, curated stack of dependencies from which you can reliably build, test, and deploy applications using the standard Perl tool chain.
Pinto supports various operations for gathering and managing distribution dependencies within the repository, so that you can control precisely which dependencies go into applications.
There are three methods to install pinto on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pinto Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install pinto using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pintoInstall pinto Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install pinto using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install pintoInstall pinto Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install pinto using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the pinto package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove pintoUninstall pinto And Its Dependencies
To uninstall pinto and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove pintoRemove pinto Configurations and Data
To remove pinto configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge pintoRemove pinto configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove pinto configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge pintoDependencies
