How To Install picmi on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install picmi on Kali Linux.
What is picmi
picmi is:
Picmi is a number logic game in which cells in a grid have to be colored or left blank according to numbers given at the side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture.
This package is part of the KDE games module.
There are three methods to install picmi on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install picmi Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install picmi using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install picmiInstall picmi Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install picmi using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install picmiInstall picmi Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install picmi using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install picmiHow To Uninstall picmi on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the picmi package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove picmiUninstall picmi And Its Dependencies
To uninstall picmi and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove picmiRemove picmi Configurations and Data
To remove picmi configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge picmiRemove picmi configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove picmi configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge picmiDependencies
