How To Install php-zeta-base on Kali Linux

What is php-zeta-base

php-zeta-base is:

The Base package provides the basic infrastructure that all packages rely on. Therefore every component relies on this package.

Zeta Components are a high quality, general purpose library of loosely coupled components for development of applications based on PHP 5. Beside typical modules for web application development, like a Template engine, Database tools and an MVC component, Zeta Components contain command line tools, a chart rendering library, a WebDAV server, a universal document conversion component and many more tools to ease developers live.

There are three methods to install php-zeta-base on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install php-zeta-base Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install php-zeta-base using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install php-zeta-base

Install php-zeta-base Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install php-zeta-base using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install php-zeta-base

Install php-zeta-base Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install php-zeta-base using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install php-zeta-base

How To Uninstall php-zeta-base on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the php-zeta-base package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove php-zeta-base

Uninstall php-zeta-base And Its Dependencies

To uninstall php-zeta-base and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove php-zeta-base

Remove php-zeta-base Configurations and Data

To remove php-zeta-base configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge php-zeta-base

Remove php-zeta-base configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove php-zeta-base configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge php-zeta-base
