How To Install php-remctl on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is php-remctl
php-remctl is:
remctl is a client/server protocol for executing specific commands on a remote system with Kerberos authentication. The allowable commands must be listed in a server configuration file, and the executable run on the server may be mapped to any command name. Each command is also associated with an ACL containing a list of Kerberos principals authorized to run that command.
This package contains the PECL remctl module for PHP, which provides native PHP bindings for the libremctl client library.
There are three methods to install php-remctl
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install php-remctl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install php-remctl
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install php-remctl

After updating apt database, We can install php-remctl

Install php-remctl Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install php-remctl
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install php-remctl
How To Uninstall php-remctl on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the php-remctl
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove php-remctl
Uninstall php-remctl And Its Dependencies
To uninstall php-remctl
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove php-remctl
Remove php-remctl Configurations and Data
To remove php-remctl
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge php-remctl
Remove php-remctl configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
