What is php-pecl-http1
The HTTP extension aims to provide a convenient and powerful set of functionality for major applications. The HTTP extension eases handling of HTTP URLs, dates, redirects, headers and messages in a HTTP context (both incoming and outgoing). It also provides means for client negotiation of preferred language and charset, as well as a convenient way to exchange arbitrary data with caching and resuming capabilities. It provides powerful request functionality, if built with CURL support. Parallel requests are available for PHP 5 and greater. Note . php-pecl-http1 provides API version 1 . php-pecl-http provides API version 2
We can use yum
or dnf
to install php-pecl-http1
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install php-pecl-http1.
Install php-pecl-http1 on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install php-pecl-http1
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install php-pecl-http1
Install php-pecl-http1 on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install php-pecl-http1
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install php-pecl-http1
How To Uninstall php-pecl-http1 on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the php-pecl-http1
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove php-pecl-http1
