What is php-pear-PhpDocumentor
phpDocumentor is the current standard auto-documentation tool for the php language. phpDocumentor has support for linking between documentation, incorporating user level documents like tutorials and creation of highlighted source code with cross referencing to php general documentation. phpDocumentor uses an extensive templating system to change your source code comments into human readable, and hence useful, formats. This system allows the creation of easy to read documentation in 15 different pre-designed HTML versions, PDF format, Windows Helpfile CHM format, and in Docbook XML.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install php-pear-PhpDocumentor
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install php-pear-PhpDocumentor.
Install php-pear-PhpDocumentor on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install php-pear-PhpDocumentor
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install php-pear-PhpDocumentor
Install php-pear-PhpDocumentor on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install php-pear-PhpDocumentor
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install php-pear-PhpDocumentor
How To Uninstall php-pear-PhpDocumentor on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the php-pear-PhpDocumentor
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove php-pear-PhpDocumentor
