How To Install php-odbc on Kali Linux

This package provides a ODBC module for PHP.
PHP (recursive acronym for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-used open source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web development and can be embedded into HTML.
This package is a dependency package, which depends on Debian’s default PHP version (currently 7.4).
There are three methods to install php-odbc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install php-odbc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install php-odbc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install php-odbcInstall php-odbc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install php-odbc using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the php-odbc package we can use the following command:

To uninstall php-odbc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove php-odbcRemove php-odbc Configurations and Data
To remove php-odbc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge php-odbcRemove php-odbc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove php-odbc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
