What is php-luasandbox

php-luasandbox is:

LuaSandbox is a PHP extension that provides a Lua environment which can be used to run untrusted code. It provides a performance benefit compared to using a standalone Lua binary.

LuaSandbox was designed for the MediaWiki Scribunto extension, which allows users to write Lua code on the wiki, and then have it executed. But it has no dependency upon MediaWiki and can be used standalone.

There are three methods to install php-luasandbox on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install php-luasandbox Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install php-luasandbox using apt-get by running the following command:
