How To Install php-http on Kali Linux

What is php-http

php-http is:

This HTTP extension aims to provide a convenient and powerful set of functionality for one of PHPs major applications.

It eases handling of HTTP urls, headers and messages, provides means for negotiation of a client's preferred content type, language and charset, as well as a convenient way to send any arbitrary data with caching and resuming capabilities.

It provides powerful request functionality with support for parallel requests.

There are three methods to install php-http on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install php-http Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install php-http using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install php-http

Install php-http Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install php-http using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install php-http

Install php-http Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install php-http using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install php-http

How To Uninstall php-http on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the php-http package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove php-http

Uninstall php-http And Its Dependencies

To uninstall php-http and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove php-http

Remove php-http Configurations and Data

To remove php-http configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge php-http

Remove php-http configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove php-http configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge php-http
