This package is part of Horde, a web application Framework written in PHP with modules like IMP (webmail), Turba (contacts), Kronolith (calendar), Nag (task list), Gollem (file manager), etc.

There are three methods to install php-horde on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install php-horde Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install php-horde using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install php-horde

After updating apt database, We can install php-horde using apt by running the following command:

To uninstall only the php-horde package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove php-horde

To uninstall php-horde and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove php-horde

Remove php-horde Configurations and Data

To remove php-horde configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge php-horde
