How To Install php-fpm on Debian 10

This package is a dependency package, which depends on latest stable PHP version (currently 7.3).
There are three methods to install php-fpm
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install php-fpm Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install php-fpm
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install php-fpm

After updating apt database, We can install php-fpm

How To Uninstall php-fpm on Debian 10
To uninstall only the php-fpm
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove php-fpm
Uninstall php-fpm And Its Dependencies
To uninstall php-fpm
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove php-fpm
Remove php-fpm Configurations and Data
To remove php-fpm
configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge php-fpm
