How To Install php-ezc-Mail on CentOS 7

In this tutorial we learn how to install php-ezc-Mail on CentOS 7.
What is php-ezc-Mail
The Mail component provides functionality to send, retrieve and parse mail messages. If you require an easy way to send a mail, use the ezcMailComposer class, which allows you to send HTML mails with images, attachments and an optional text part. If you require more advanced mail messages, you can build the complete message yourself using the ezcMailPart derived classes. You can retrieve mail messages from different sources using the supported transports.
We can use yum or dnf to install php-ezc-Mail on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install php-ezc-Mail.
Install php-ezc-Mail on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install php-ezc-Mail using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install php-ezc-Mail
Install php-ezc-Mail on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install php-ezc-Mail using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install php-ezc-Mail
How To Uninstall php-ezc-Mail on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the php-ezc-Mail package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove php-ezc-Mail
