How To Install phipack on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install phipack on Kali Linux.
What is phipack
phipack is:
The PhiPack software package implements a few tests for recombination and can produce refined incompatibility matrices as well. Specifically, PHIPack implements the ‘Pairwise Homoplasy Index’, Maximum Chi2 and the ‘Neighbour Similarity Score’. The program Phi can be run to produce a p-value of recombination within a data set and the program profile can be run to determine regions exhibiting strongest evidence mosaicism.
There are three methods to install phipack on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install phipack Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install phipack using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install phipackInstall phipack Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install phipack using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install phipackInstall phipack Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install phipack using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install phipackHow To Uninstall phipack on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the phipack package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove phipackUninstall phipack And Its Dependencies
To uninstall phipack and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove phipackRemove phipack Configurations and Data
To remove phipack configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge phipackRemove phipack configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove phipack configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
