How To Install phatch on Debian 9

In this tutorial we learn how to install phatch on Debian 9.
What is phatch
phatch is:
Phatch handles all popular image formats and can duplicate (sub)folder hierarchies. It can batch resize, rotate, apply perspective, shadows, rounded corners, … and more in minutes instead of hours or days if you do it manually. Phatch allows you to use EXIF and IPTC tags for renaming and data stamping.
There are three methods to install phatch on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install phatch Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install phatch using apt-get by running the following command:

How To Uninstall phatch on Debian 9
To uninstall only the phatch package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove phatch

sudo apt-get -y autoremove phatch

To remove phatch configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge phatch
