How To Install perl-base on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install perl-base on Kali Linux.
What is perl-base
perl-base is:
Perl is a scripting language used in many system scripts and utilities.
This package provides a Perl interpreter and the small subset of the standard run-time library required to perform basic tasks. For a full Perl installation, install “perl” (and its dependencies, “perl-modules-5.32” and “perl-doc”).
There are three methods to install perl-base on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install perl-base Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install perl-base using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install perl-baseInstall perl-base Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install perl-base using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install perl-baseInstall perl-base Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install perl-base using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the perl-base package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove perl-baseUninstall perl-base And Its Dependencies
To uninstall perl-base and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove perl-baseRemove perl-base Configurations and Data
To remove perl-base configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge perl-baseRemove perl-base configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove perl-base configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
