How To Install perl-XML-Smart on CentOS 7

What is perl-XML-Smart
This module provides an easy way to access/create XML data. It’s based on a HASH tree created from the XML data, and enables dynamic access to it through the standard Perl syntax for Hash and Array, without necessarily caring about which you are working with. In other words, each point in the tree works as a Hash and an Array at the same time!
We can use yum or dnf to install perl-XML-Smart on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-XML-Smart.
Install perl-XML-Smart on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-XML-Smart using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-XML-Smart
Install perl-XML-Smart on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-XML-Smart using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-XML-Smart
How To Uninstall perl-XML-Smart on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the perl-XML-Smart package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-XML-Smart
