What is perl-XML-SAX-Base

This module has a very simple task - to be a base class for Perl SAX drivers and filters. It’s default behaviour is to pass the input directly to the output unchanged. It can be useful to use this module as a base class so you don’t have to, for example, implement the characters() callback.

We can use yum or dnf to install perl-XML-SAX-Base on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-XML-SAX-Base.

Install perl-XML-SAX-Base on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-XML-SAX-Base using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install perl-XML-SAX-Base

Install perl-XML-SAX-Base on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-XML-SAX-Base using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install perl-XML-SAX-Base

How To Uninstall perl-XML-SAX-Base on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the perl-XML-SAX-Base package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove perl-XML-SAX-Base
