What is perl-XML-Entities

This module provides a mapping from the standard XML entities to their Unicode characters. A function for decoding is provided. The mapping can be generated from a DTD file with entity definitions.

We can use yum or dnf to install perl-XML-Entities on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-XML-Entities.

Install perl-XML-Entities on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh
