How To Install perl-WWW-Mechanize on CentOS 8

What is perl-WWW-Mechanize
“WWW with a website. It supports performing a sequence of page fetches including following links and submitting forms. Each fetched page is parsed and its links and forms are extracted. A link or a form can be selected, form fields can be filled and the next page can be fetched. Mech also stores a history of the URLs you’ve visited, which can be queried and revisited.
We can use yum or dnf to install perl-WWW-Mechanize on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-WWW-Mechanize.
Install perl-WWW-Mechanize on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-WWW-Mechanize using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-WWW-Mechanize
Install perl-WWW-Mechanize on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-WWW-Mechanize using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-WWW-Mechanize
How To Uninstall perl-WWW-Mechanize on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the perl-WWW-Mechanize package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-WWW-Mechanize
