How To Install perl-Unicode-Map8 on AlmaLinux 8

What is perl-Unicode-Map8
The Unicode 8-bit character sets and 16 bit character sets like Unicode. About 170 different mapping tables between various known character sets and Unicode is distributed with this package. The source of these tables is the vendor mapping tables provided by Unicode, Inc. and the code tables in RFC 1345. New maps can easily be installed.
We can use yum or dnf to install perl-Unicode-Map8 on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Unicode-Map8.
Install perl-Unicode-Map8 on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Unicode-Map8 using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Unicode-Map8
Install perl-Unicode-Map8 on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Unicode-Map8 using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Unicode-Map8
How To Uninstall perl-Unicode-Map8 on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the perl-Unicode-Map8 package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Unicode-Map8
