What is perl-Type-Tie

This module exports a single function type constraint, ensuring that whatever values stored in the variable will conform to the type constraint. If the type constraint has coercions, these will be used if necessary to ensure values assigned to the variable conform.

We can use yum or dnf to install perl-Type-Tie on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Type-Tie.

Install perl-Type-Tie on CentOS 8 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-Type-Tie using yum by running the following command:

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
